Michele A. Vaughn, DDS
Hello, I was born in Lewiston, New York and grew up on Grand Island. I attended St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a minor in Chemistry and a minor in Religious Studies. After graduation I moved back to the Buffalo area and started dental school in the fall.
I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and went on to complete a General Dentistry residency program at UB in 2012. After residency, I moved to Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, where I spent two years working in an advanced implant family practice. I have continued to further my education in implants and restorative work through the Dawson Academy and Misch Implant Institute. I am committed to furthering my education so I can give the best care to my patients. I very much enjoy what I do and love to see a patient happy when they leave the office.
Ever since my college years I have traveled on mission trips to help those in need. Some of these included hurricane relief in the south, building home ramps for the handicap, and dental mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala. I also participate in Give Kids a Smile day and other local out reach programs. I plan to continue my yearly trip to Guatemala for many years to come.
I live on Grand Island with my husband, Bill, and our two children, Amelia and Christian. Bill is currently the Food and Human Safety Coordinator for Wegmans. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking my children to the zoo and science museum, practicing yoga, bowling, and being a buffalo sports fan.
Professionally I am a member of:
- American Dental Association
- New York State Dental Association
- Eighth District Dental Society
- Niagara County Dental Society
